Silvija Kicivoj, born in Zagreb, lives and works in Düsseldorf. Her artistic practice developed from an early need to express thoughts and feelings in images—initially through drawing, painting, and photography, and today primarily in the form of textiles and embroidery. Silvija’s works emerge from the tension between the inner and outer worlds. She explores interpersonal relationships, emotional responses, and the impact of her surroundings.

Through clear forms, delicate lines, and a conscious choice of materials, she translates thoughts and feelings into a tangible, visual language. The works do not invite quick interpretation—they appear quiet and understated, revealing their depth in dialogue with the viewer.
