The viewer becomes part of the artwork and is invited to look at it from different perspectives.

Quinda Verheul makes use of mirrors in her work and thereby shows both the human perspective and the experience of emptiness and reflection. In this way she creates strange landscapes that offer a kind of recognition, but can also be part of another world.

She gets her inspiration from hours of cycling through changing landscapes and from scientific topics such as the hydrological cycle of water and the erosion of the earth, and natural forces such as wind, water and sunlight.

Quinda graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2015. Her first major exhibition was in Yogjakarta. Soon there will be exhibitions in Rotterdam and in Turin, Italy.
