“Anything you can imagine, you can create” is the core belief of our founder, Simone Jansen.

In 2018, Simone purchased a 520m² property in Noordwijk, made plans, and started working with a contractor to renovate it. After a couple of months of construction, the house was not finished, and the budget was tight. “I’m going to finish it myself,” Simone decided. She taught herself various skills and worked on the weekends. Pouring her own floors, fixing ceilings and walls, and designing furniture by reusing second-hand items.

After completing the house, Simone decided to share her space and open her doors for contemporary art. What started as a passion has since then grown into a true business. With the mission to open doors for artists and make art accessible to everyone, ART[s] has developed a successful franchise formula and an online platform for interior partners.
