Mirjam Withaar, born in Brabant, grew up with a deep love for nature. After training as a conservator in Utrecht, she discovered that her true passion lay in creating herself and went on to study at art academy, where her interest in craftsmanship was further deepened. After graduating, she specialized in felting, a craft that evolved into her artistic practice. Today, she works with great dedication in her studio in Maastricht on felt wall objects inspired by nature and craftsmanship.
