Miranda Schellevis graduated in 2007 from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam as a graphic designer. She immediately co‑founded the graphic design studio Knalrood with her colleague Eline. In 2017, Miranda continued independently under the name Studio BE BOLD, focusing on branding projects. This was also the moment when art began to play an increasingly significant role, both personally and within her work. She started taking clients to museums as part of the branding process — first in person, and later, in 2020, through her digital museum. In 2023, Miranda decided to fully embrace her artistic practice and launched her first collection, GROOTS. In 2024, she presented her solo exhibition CLASH. Now, in 2025, her third collection has emerged: THE GARDEN.
