My work consists of layered acrylic paintings on canvas, built up with diluted paint to create depth and transparency. I paint intuitively, often inspired by quiet, remote landscapes like the Wadden Sea. While abstract elements appear, the landscape always remains central.

Up close, the many layers reveal a subtle, tactile process. My scenes evoke vast and unapproachable worlds such as ice fields, seascapes, and cloudscapes, with a clear link to Northern Romanticism where nature dominates in its most powerful form.
