Marco Biemans [1977, Dordrecht, The Netherlands] is a conceptual artist based in Rotterdam. Where he creates his landscapes made from wood, which he weaves or wraps in colored cotton threads. As a graphic designer, interior architect and artist, he searches for structures, which gives him an answer to his fascination for ratio and patterns. He finds these in the landscapes that existed in nature or were made by the hand of men.

Marco is educated at the graphic lycée in Rotterdam and continued his studies at the academy of art in Breda and the Academy for architecture and urban design in Tilburg.
