Lynn Spoor
Lynn Spoor is an Amsterdam-based contemporary artist known for her emotionally layered abstract paintings that merge vivid color, rich texture and natural materials. Raised between the North Sea and the steel industry of Velsen, she developed a fascination for transformation and raw elements. After early success with realist portraiture, she shifted to an intuitive abstract language that explores inner landscapes. Her work is held in international collections and exhibited in cities including New York and Miami.
Lynn begins by observing and moving through places, absorbing atmosphere, light and memory. In the studio, these impressions return as colour and movement, and the painting slowly takes over through intuition and process.

Eze Village
H 140 x W 180 x D 5 cm
Acrylic on linen with mixed media
It is an abstract representation of the characteristic village of Eze in the south of France. The color palette is inspired by the surrounding nature, flowers, and stone houses. The artist actually mixed real sand from Eze into the paint, so the inspiration of the area is physically embedded in the work. Because of the sand, the piece also has a lot of texture, which creates a beautiful effect.

Golden Coral
H 30 x W 40 x D 5 cm
Acrylic on linen with mixed media and gold details
The artist explores imagined underwater worlds where coral reefs become emotional landscapes. Through abstract forms and vibrant, dreamlike colors, Lynn translate the rhythm, fragility, and beauty of reef life into layered compositions of movement and light. Each painting reflects an emotional impression rather than reality, inviting viewers to slow down, drift beneath the surface, and experience nature through feeling and imagination.
