Kinga Földi is a Hungary-based textile artist working at the intersection of traditional handcraft and contemporary sculpture. She found her primary artistic language in pin-tuck sewing. Following a period working in costume design, she began to develop an individual technique that allows pin-tucked textiles to become free-standing, sculptural forms. Her work spans a wide range of scales and formats, including large- and small-scale sculptures, miniature objects transformed into jewellery, and spatial installations. Alongside her artistic practice, Kinga Földi is deeply committed to education and knowledge sharing. She is an artist-teacher at the Art Department of the University of Pécs and regularly leads masterclasses across Europe.
