Aliaksandra Puhachova, known as Just Alex, has been based in The Hague since 2015. Her paintings capture the omnipresent elements of sea, dunes, and sky, bringing to life the dynamic, turbulent weather through color, movement, and emotion. The name “Royal Blue” refers both to the city of The Hague and the vibrant, ever-changing color of the sky and ocean.

Alex’s work draws from Dutch landscape painting traditions, romanticism, and expressionism, influenced by her love of nature and sports.
