Julie Hendriks
Julie Hendriks (born 1970 – The Hague, Netherlands) began her six-year training at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam before graduating in 1997 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. She has worked as a visual artist and illustrator. Julie’s vibrant and colorful paintings have developed a steady stream of loyal followers over the years. “Whatever the subject of my paintings, people recognize my work.”
These days, Julie uses a lot of antique objects in her work. The combination of antiques, such as a cabinet or a table, plays a supporting role in a story. Because telling stories is what she enjoys most.
