Inge Lam graduated from the Hogeschool van de Kunsten in 2024 in Utrecht not only as an artist, but also as an art educator. The two different roles are important to the art she makes. In her work as an art educator she explores the relations people have with themselves and with others. Where she investigates questions like: ‘How can we keep rediscovering our authenticiteit selves, so we can make room for different perspectives?’ 

In her work as an artist she explores these spaces where the body and the mind collide. She believes that when we make room to wonder in the world outside ourselves and within ourselves, we can find the power of connection. Through that we can find room to truly listen, see the brightest colors and feel all sensations life has to offer. She embodies this space and its movements within the different layers, colors and strokes of paint. Where the size of the painting invites your whole body to take part of what the mind is capturing.
