Frans van Straaten (1963, The Hague) is a Dutch sculptor known for his dynamic bronze sculptures. His work explores balance, movement, and tension, often inspired by classical sculpture, dance, and the human and animal form. After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam, he developed a distinctive style in which elegance and strength come together. His sculptures are exhibited internationally and can be found in both private collections and public spaces.
