What if a scent can be made visible?

A special collaboration with Mart Visser and Skins brought together art and fragrance experiences through ART[s] Gallery. A selection of artworks combined scent and imagery during a sensory experience held on 9 and 10 May 2026 at Atelier Mart Visser in Amsterdam. More than 300 visitors were surprised and moved by the encounters, conversations, emotions and shared experiences.

Where fragrance & art meet, and evolve.

Mart Vissers’ way of working is intuitive: “Don’t think and start,” Visser says. From there comes his process. “I look at each perfume what the story is and how I translate it into form. Is it tight or fragile? Thin or fat? Vertical, horizontal, or is it a combination?”

Ganymede

The sculpture combines strength with striking softness. The tall, vertical shapes feel monumental, while the rounded lines have something supple and almost tactile. Like Ganymede, the work remains clear, warm and elegant at the same time.

Ganymede by MARC-ANTOINE BARROIS is a perfume that surprises you with an unexpected, but beautiful fragrance composition. Perfumer Quentin Bisch created an elegant harmony around a quartet of mandarin, violet, immortal and suede. Enjoy the vibrant mandarin combined with double-sided immortal, which gives a haute couture touch to the olfactory portrait.

The open wiring looks light and almost weightless. The lines seem to float or slowly dissolve, changing the sculpture from every angle. The work has something vulnerable and subdued, with the same dreamy softness as Tiempe Passate.

Designed as a hypnotic jewel, EX NIHILO’s Blue Talisman contains an infinite spiritual energy expressed by the subtle freshness of pear and bergamot. Abstract musky and amber-like notes soften the creation. The perfume embodies the avant-garde and unique spirit of the house as a true work of art, while it resonates with the exclusivity of Place Vendôme, where the perfume house was founded ten years ago.

The vertical shape gives the sculpture something ascending, as if it moves slowly into space. The deep blue tones and combination of tight and round shapes ensure a powerful presence without becoming heavy. Like Blue Talisman, the work feels clear, intense and elegant.
