Remains is an ongoing series in which I explore what remains when all the excess layers disappear. Driven by a profound passion for abstraction, I give shape to the essence of memories, moments, and impressions that touch me. The title refers to remnants: the pure images and feelings that endure over time, without distraction. This series invites personal interpretation; by leaving out figuration, space is created for the viewer to find their own story within the work. It is a reflection on what surrounds me. Major events, but also small, meaningful details, which together form a constant flow of inspiration. Remains has a clear beginning, but no fixed ending. It is an open story that continually unfolds. Remains reveals what remains: pure, powerful, and timeless.
