Casper Waaijer (1995) is a Dutch visual artist based in Amsterdam, known for his multidisciplinary approach that bridges craft and contemporary art. As a self-taught artist, he has developed a unique visual language that combines traditional techniques like tufting, weaving, screen-printing, and painting.
His work is inspired by both nature and architecture, resulting in richly layered compositions that balance structure with spontaneity. By blending materials, textures, and colors in surprising ways, Waaijer aims to spark curiosity and a sense of wonder in the viewer.
