From corporate leader to art pioneer
When Simone founded ART[s], she already had an career at ABN AMRO, where she leveraged her leadership and strategic vision to empower entrepreneurs and build inclusive initiatives. As Head of Entrepreneur & Enterprise, she was instrumental in developing an international client proposition that won the Best Client Initiative Europe 2024 award. Additionally, she played a role in positioning ABN AMRO as “the best private bank for women” and served as a Board Member for Leading Ladies, a program focused on female leadership in the financial sector.
Her career in banking provided invaluable experience, yet she felt a deep calling to the art world. During her journey, Simone realized that many galleries felt traditional and unwelcoming, which did not align with her vision. This inspired her to create a gallery where art is presented in an accessible, welcoming, and personal way. With her expertise and passion, she transformed the gallery culture and set a new standard with ART[s].

With VR, we’re transforming the art experience and focusing on future growth.
