Full of passion, Ans works as a full-time visual artist and creates ceramics, glass objects and mosaic. The challenge for her lies in applying new techniques and forms.
The many possibilities that clay offers, both in shape and appearance, continuous to inspire Ans. It makes the material fascinating and challenges her to make other works of art than usual.
An example of this are her “Ceramic Paintings”, 3D sculptural paintings including her signature “Wave” in porcelain. Here you see a play of light and shadow, created by the way in which the elements are laid. Due to the change of light during the day, the work is constantly changing, which keeps it fascinating. Ceramic elements are shaped by hand and therefore all unique. Due to the different positions in which they are attached, the light and the position from which you look at the work, there appear to be slight differences in color.
Ans gets her inspiration from everywhere by looking differently at everyday things or making an enlargement of a simple object. All her works are unique and can also be custom-made.
