Annabelle Moison
Annabelle Moison is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the fragile space between imposed identity and inner existence, between how we are seen and how we truly are. Originally from the Netherlands and now based in Luxembourg, she studied at the Jewellery department of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, where her fascination with the human body and its vulnerabilities began to take form.
Drawing from the language of the medical field, Moison uses fabric, pigment, and stitching to question how systems of care can also erase individuality. Her research-driven yet intuitive process transforms historical and emotional sources into tactile reflections on self-worth, memory, and disappearance. Through repetition and abstraction, she traces what endures beyond identity. The fragile essence of being.
