Angela Larotonda (1982) is an Italian abstract painter based in Munich, Germany. With a background in architecture (B.A., Sapienza University) and further studies in photography and visual communication at ISFCI Rome, her work blends spatial awareness, storytelling, and emotional intuition.

She began her creative journey in photography, exploring light, shadow, and movement before returning to painting, her most instinctive medium. Through fluid drips, gestural strokes, and layered color fields, Larotonda creates compositions that balance spontaneity with control.

Her style is deeply influenced by the vivid light and colors of southern Italy, as well as the experimental energy of London, where she lived for over a decade. These elements, combined with her architectural eye, shape a dynamic visual language where emotion and structure coexist in constant dialogue.
