The seven steps
We start with your home, not our walls
We plan a meeting at a convenient time for you to look at your place, the light that comes in in the morning, what’s currently on your wall and why.
And we keep asking. What role should art play in your home? What do you notice when you walk into a space? You don’t need to know anything about art to answer those questions. You already have taste, you just never got the words for it.
Are there two of you at the table? Then we ask both of you. Differences in taste aren’t a problem, they’re information we can work with.

We do the searching. Based on that conversation, we put together a selection from our network of artists. Not everything that fits, but what we truly feel belongs with you.
You see in advance how each work looks on your wall. No guesswork, no surprises when it’s unpacked.
You know exactly what you’re bringing home
Every work comes with a file: who made it, where it was made, what came before it, and where it has hung before.
No decoration from the internet. Real art, straight from the artist, with a name and a story attached, that’s how we make the art world more accessible.
We sort out the lighting before anything is hung
Art thrives in good lighting. That’s why we work with Lichtmeesters – Veghel and Lichtadvies 010 – Rotterdam.
They look at the angle, the color temperature and the time of day you come home. Not fixing it afterwards, getting it right beforehand.
We come and hang it
Delivery, hanging, adjusting. We come by with the right hooks, the right height and a spirit level.
You don’t have to lift or drill anything.
And then you live with it for sixty days first
This is where we differ from everywhere else. The work hangs in your home. You live with it. In morning light, at a birthday, on a Tuesday evening in November. If it still feels right after sixty days, it’s yours.
Are there two of you? Then this is also the time to arrive at it not just on your own, but together, without having to force it in a showroom.
If not? Then we come to collect it and we keep looking. No explanation needed.

WHAT DOES THE PERSONAL TASTE CONSULTATION COST?
€250. That amount is fully credited as soon as you purchase a work — so you never pay it twice.
WHAT IF IT STILL DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT AFTER SIXTY DAYS?
Then Carlijn or Pim comes to collect the work and we keep looking. No conversation, no explanation needed — that’s exactly what the trial period is for.
DO I NEED TO ALREADY KNOW WHAT I LIKE?
No. Most clients couldn’t put it into words. That’s what the first conversation is for — we translate what you feel into a selection that fits.
DOES THIS APPLY TO EVERY ARTWORK AT ART[s]?
Yes, every work from €1.000 includes all seven steps — the lighting plan, the hanging and the sixty days to decide.
HOW DOES THE INTEREST-FREE TWELVE-MONTH PAYMENT WORK?
You spread the purchase price over twelve monthly instalments, interest-free and without hassle. We explain the exact terms during the conversation.
WHICH AREAS DO YOU COVER?
Carlijn and Pim travel across the whole country to visit you at home. We’ll work out the exact planning when we schedule your taste consultation.
HOW MUCH TIME DOES THIS ACTUALLY TAKE ME?
Actively, you’re looking at about two moments: an hour and a half for the taste consultation and a moment for delivery. The searching, the lighting plan and the planning in between — we handle that.
